New affordable rentals will soon be available in Boulder County.

Talk about a makeover! Construction is moving along smartly these days on 53 units of affordable housing at Thistle’s new Bustop Apartments. They’ll be ready for residents January 2020.
Thistle Communities’ Bus Stop development has a colorful past. The site on North Broadway was the long-time home to a popular strip club called the Bustop. Thistle decided to hang onto the location’s historic name.
City of Boulder’s Goal: 15 percent affordable housing by 2035
The Bus Stop Apartments will bring Boulder an important step closer to reaching its goal of 15 percent permanently affordable housing by 2035.
The project will also house a community art space for local artists.
The Bus Stop Apartments affordable housing is a collaboration of these fine builders, architects, government agencies and finance partners.
