Thistle’s Ongoing Response to Covid-19

Thistle’s Ongoing Response to Covid-19

What is Thistle’s ongoing response to Covid-19?

Caring is what we do!

The health and safety of our residents, staff, and those that support our mission are of critical concern to Thistle.

Learning is what we do!

During the past four months, Thistle has monitored and implemented the scientific information coming from the CDC, Governor Polis’ office, Colorado Dept of Public Health and Environment, and Boulder County Public Health, among other sources.

And in the spirit of continuous learning, we welcome the ideas of others.

Taking action is what we do!

Our responses have included closing Thistle’s main office to the public and making work-from-home arrangements for most of our staff, as well as continuation of the social distancing, mask wearing, cleaning and hygiene protocols adopted earlier this year.

All staff has been provided PPE. We re-aligned our maintenance program to prioritize work orders in the interest of keeping our residents and staff safe.

We’ve increased our ability to take online information through RENTCafé, our website, and email.

Providing high-quality services is what we do!

  • Thistle is accepting applications, renewals, payments, and inquiries. Call 303-443-0007 and listen for the prompts (3 for Leasing) or email us at info@thistle.us.
  • Make an appointment – it’s fast, safe, and easy.
  • Check out the video tours of many of our properties.
  • Come to the Covid-19 safe Open House at the Ellipse Apartments on July 31 and August 1.
  • Contact Maintenance for the help you need during emergencies and for safe response to daily issues: 303—527-9913
Communicating is what we do!

We have sent out informational emails and posted notices with vital information.

We are grateful to all of you who have communicated with Thistle as to your health and well-being, the community and apartment needs.

Thank you for paying your rent and for talking to us when you can’t. Remember, we need to know ahead of time if you are unable to pay rent.

Searching for assistance for you is what we do!

As of July 15, 2020 only about 3% of residents are two or more months late.  This tells us that most of our residents respect the obligation to pay rent – and we are grateful!  We are looking at programs that provide assistance to those who cannot.

What we need you to do!

Be sure to submit your renewal paperwork on time when we request it. This maintains compliance with your lease agreement. Remember most of this can be done via automation/online with signature follow-up via U.S. Postal Service.

Staying safe is what we all need to do!

Mask-up, social distance, wash hands!  We all know the steps to take.
